The Department of Social Sciences at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, invites applications to fill the following position:

Guest Professorship in Critical Social Theory

Required qualifications include excellent publications and research in Sociology or Political Science or related disciplines pertaining to the Frankfurt School tradition of Critical Theory. The candidate will be expected to contribute to all teaching programs of the department with a focus on both historical dimensions and contemporary perspectives of Critical Theory. The teaching load is 8 contact hours per week during term times. The successful candidate will be appointed for one academic year (April 2018 - March 2019).
