The Faculty of Psychology and Sports Sciences of Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University Frankfurt, at the Chair of Developmental Psychology (led by Prof. Dr. Yee Lee Shing) is offering a position (funded by an ERC Starting Grant) of

Postdoctoral researcher / „Wissen­schaft­liche Mit­arbeiterin / Wissen­schaft­licher Mit­arbeiter“; (E13 TV-G-U, full time)

starting 01.03.2018 for a duration of 3.5 years.
The successful candidate will conduct research in the fields of long-term memory systems, predictive coding, and lifespan development, using experimental and (f)MRI methods.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or related disciplines, with experience in neuroimaging techniques. Computer programming skills (Matlab, Unix, Python, R) are expected. Applicants should have excellent organizational skills, be highly motivated for research, and be able to communicate effectively with outstanding writing ability.
