Scientist (m/f)You are working in European Union funded projects aiming to develop and operate federated data and computing infrastructures (e.g. project EUDAT2020) and to support various science communities in using such infrastructures (e.g. project ELITRANS). You will publish your results and present them at conferences and workshops. The position is only suitable for part-time work under certain conditions. Your personal qualities include a university degree (diploma (uni)/masters) in computer sciences or a natural science, either PhD or at least three years of work experience in the scientific field. A good general IT know-how, experience in scientific data processing as a user, developer or operator of Linux-based data and computer systems as well as very good knowledge of the English language are required. Your willingness to travel and interest to work in an international team is assumed. We prefer to balance the number of female and male employees.
