LSE is using this recruitment round to strengthen its leadership in disciplinary Departments and key interdisciplinary fields, and to enhance its capacity to educate the extraordinary students who enrol in its world-leading courses.
Appointments can be made in any of the School's academic Departments, and where appropriate affiliations can be made to the School's influential Research Centres and Institutes. Rank is open for these positions, although the School seeks to recruit a mix of junior and senior scholars.
Based in London, with its extraordinary cultural attractions and financial centre, the LSE works and competes globally. New faculty members will be expected to be or shortly to become world leaders in their fields, and at all levels appointments will only be made to candidates whose research and publications are of the highest international standard. Intellectual achievement and potential must be demonstrated in significant publications. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment and capacity to provide high quality and innovative teaching to LSE students.
All posts to commence by no later than 1 October 2013. Salaries will be competitive. For more information and to apply, please visit www.lseglobaldebate.com. We value diversity and wish to promote equality at all levels.
