Kühne Logistics University - Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Logistik und Unternehmensführung (KLU) is a private university founded in 2010 and based in Hamburg's HafenCity. The independent, state-approved university focuses on the areas of logistics and management. Candidates should have strong leadership and communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work with students, faculty and administration. The successful candidate will work well in a collaborative environment, be student-centered, ethical, and will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the University.
In detail your qualifications should be:
Educational background in business administration
PhD degree and experiences in academic institutions
Relevant industry experience (in particular in the area of logistics / SCM)
Preferably experience in teaching of executives / didactics
Fluent in German and English languages
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities required
Self -starter, able to produce results, benchmark and directly affect improvements while collaborating successfully with others
Broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex project management issues
Exceptional attention to details and timelines of work production
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all staff and students required with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
Able to effectively communicate orally (in person and by telephone) and in writing.
Able to work in a positive team-oriented manner with a variety of people (students, faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, and members of the general public)
Able to pursue professional development opportunities to keep current field knowledge.
Able to work with diverse clientele.
A limited 3-5 year contract / full time (40h per week)
