“The Structural Transformation of Property” which is funded
by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and hosted
at the Universities of Jena and Erfurt, invites applications for
24 academic research positions
Both doctoral and postdoctoral
positions are available at various locations, and
salaries are calculated according to the
German university
pay-scale at level TV-L E13. The positions are available as
soon as possible and will normally end on 31/12/2024.
The SFB offers an innovative and varied working environment
and the opportunity to pursue further academic qualification
in an interdisciplinary setting. We are looking to fill
positions in the fields of sociology, political science, history,
religious studies, philosophy, law, South Asian studies, and
economics. Through interdisciplinary collaboration between
these disciplines, the SFB aims to (re)gain a comprehensive
social-theoretical perspective on issues of property and
to investigate current structural changes to the nature of
