Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) Organizational Culture, Leadership & Collaboration (75%)
The University of St. Gallen and its School of Management is seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure track) in the area of New Culture and Collaboration. The professor will be part of the Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management (I.FPM), which focuses on research in the areas of leadership, engagement, and new work with the goal to generate impact in both the scientific community and in practice.
The triple accredited (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) university offers an inspiring research environment and a large network of partner companies.
The assistant professorship has a clear research focus in terms of top end international research output in the fields of new culture and collaboration. The thematic focus of this position is on the core topics of organizational culture, leadership, and collaboration in the context of today’s complex, uncertain, and socially diverse world of work. Important here is that we do not wish to impose a restricted thematic focus for this position. We rather search for a colleague who complements and enriches our areas of expertise and methodological competences. The future colleague should apply the scientific knowledge gained in university teaching at all levels (preferably in German and English) including executive education. In addition, generating external funding for research projects is an important part of the position.
We seek candidates per February 1
st 2022 or by mutual agreement. For further information, please contact Professor Dr. Reinhard Jung, Chairman of the Appointment Committee (
facultyposition@unisg.ch).
The application should include a cover letter (motivation for the position, description of teaching, research, and other academic activities), curriculum vitae, Ph.D.-Certificate, list of publications, identification of two publications/working papers that best represent your current research, and contact information for two professional references that we may contact if shortlisted for the position.
