Chair of International Relations (f/m/d)
The prospective candidate is expected to represent the entire field of International Relations in teaching, particularly the theoretical foundations of International Relations. Key areas of research may include, for example, international institutions and organizations, international political economy, climate policy, sustainability, or development.
Applicants should have an outstanding, distinguished research record, for example, in the form of international peer-reviewed publications and successful acquisition of external funding. Furthermore, excellent didactic skills are expected, as well as an interest in developing and implementing innovative teaching formats and a willingness to support student research. Interest in interdisciplinary research is also desired, as is participation in acquiring competitive external funding for research projects. Willingness to participate in academic self-governance is also expected.
The appointment requirements pursuant to § 47 of the State University Act apply. Severely disabled applicants will be given preference if they are suitable.
