The European Institute for Energy Research EDF-KIT EWIV (EIFER), established by Electricité de France (EDF) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is currently looking for an
to work in the group Low Carbon Hydrogen System.
EIFER (European Institute for Energy Research) was established in 2001 as collaboration between the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Electricité de France (EDF). It is located near the Centre of Karlsruhe in the Technology Park of the city. The institute gathers an international team of more than 100 researchers and offers a comfortable working environment equipped with advanced research facilities.
The activities of Low Carbon Hydrogen System (around 20 researchers) embrace in particular Hydrogen field including upstream research and development of components, systems trials in the laboratory and in demonstration field projects, technical and economic studies, technologies and market potentials assessment and strategic positioning. They are fostered by a smart network of academic and industrial partners and a commitment in several national (French and German) and European funding research projects dealing with low carbon hydrogen production and usages.
The assigned tasks involve
Additional tasks could be part of the assignment, such as contribution to the development of controllers of hydrogen infrastructure components, analysis of data and reporting.

Conditions
The duration of the position is initially 2 years starting as soon as possible. The salary is based on qualification and experience according to TV-L (100%).
