Department for Plant and Environmental Sciences focuses on plants, microorganisms, animals, biotechnology and the environment as basis for sustainable production of the food of the future and other biological products. The Department has established advanced technological platforms for bio-imaging, metabolomics, analytical chemistry and phenomics.

Engineer/Laboratory Manager in
mass spectroscopy and chromatography

For LC/GC/MS metabolomics platform

Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science, at the University of Copenhagen, is offering a full-time position as facility manager of our LC/GC/MS metabolomics platform starting 1 February 2013 or soon thereafter. It is a one year position, with the potential of becoming a permanent position according to existing rules. The facility manager is expected to be part of the metabolomics unit that will be embedded in the new laboratories of the Copenhagen Plant Science Center to be built at the University.

Terms of employment

The post will be filled according to the Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
