Full Professor in
»Engineering Software for Decentralized Systems«
to begin in summer semester 2020. The position is a tenured W3 position.
The professorship belongs to the TUM Department of Informatics.
The responsibilities include research and teaching as well as the promotion of early-career scientists. We seek to appoint an expert in the research area of Engineering Software for Decentralized Systems with a focus on Architecture, Quality Assurance (Test), Implementation and Maintenance of decentralized software systems as well as distributed and concurrent trustworthy computations. The teaching load includes courses in the university's bachelor and master programs.
We are looking for a candidate with high international reputation who has demonstrated an outstanding academic record and an internationally recognized research program. A university degree and an outstanding doctoral degree or equivalent scientific qualification as well as pedagogical aptitude, including the ability to teach in English, are also prerequisites. Substantial research experience abroad is expected.
