The chair of Software Engineering for Business information systems(sebis)
at the Technical University of Munich is looking for excellent candidates
for our research projects in the following areas:
* Software platforms and ecosystems
* (Meta-) model-based system development
* Innovative approaches to software architectures and systems engineering, e.g.
- Integration of machine learning in enterprise information systems
- Use of machine learning in software development architecture design,
software and systems of systems monitoring and analysis)
- Blockchain-based distributed system architectures
- Models at runtime
* Development of domain-specific languages (adaptive case management, smart
contracts, rule-based systems, …)

Open PhD positions in the area of Software Engineering at the Technical University of Munich

Vergütung nach TV-L 13 (volle Stelle)

* Teaching support for our software engineering courses

Your qualifications
* Excellent grades in Master and Bachelor studies
* Good theoretical knowledge and practical experience in:
- designing, building and deploying complex software systems
- software architectures
- knowledge management
- natural language processing and machine learning
* Creativity, openness to work in interdisciplinary research projects
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead software development
in distributed multicultural teams
* Advanced English speaking and writing skills
* Willingness to learn German
