(Smart Mobility Systems)".
The junior professorship is to be funded in the context of the Einstein Center Digital Future. The professorship is offered
under the reserve that funds are granted.

WORKING FIELD |
Research and teaching in the area of advanced digital traffic technologies. Developing
vehicle concepts for digital transport systems (including but not limited to micro-mobility
and concepts for multi-modal transport systems) as well as communication technologies
between vehicles and infrastructure. This includes research on massive data exchange of
all traffic participants linked to the infrastructure. The system integration of mobility solutions
and energy generation is another fundamental research pillar.

REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants must fulfill the requirements for appointment at the professor level in compliance with § 102a BerlHG
(Berlin Higher Education Act), including a completed academic education, qualified achievements in research and a
particular qualification for academic work normally attested by the excellent quality of a PhD, and pedagogical didactic
qualifications, to be proven by teaching experience and visualized in a teaching portfolio (for further information see TUB
Website, quick access no. 144242). Applicants are expected to have verifiable experience in application-oriented research
with regard to the topics outlined above (e.g., vehicle-to-vehicle or vehicle-to-infrastructure communications) as well as the
skills required to deliver complete system solutions. We are seeking a personality that is cooperative in nature and capable
of leading a working group. International work experience is desired. Experience in teaching as well as participation in
research projects in the fields of digitalisation and technology development is required. Also, experience in the acquisition of
research funding and, preferably, in the management of national and international research projects is expected. Teaching
requirements shall be met in German and English.
