Manager (m/f) Strategic Business Development
We are seeking to recruit at the earliest possibility & on a full-time permanent basis a Manager Strategic Business Development
(m/f) within the department "R&D - Business Development Technology" in Einbeck, Germany or St. Louis, USA. You will report to
the Head R&D Business Development Technology.
Your tasks:
- Identify, evaluate & drive the pursuit of novel, disruptive
technology trends & associated business opportunities that
are of relevance for KWS to achieve its strategic, mid - long
research & business goals
- Co-lead & support the implementation & further development
of KWS’ Innovation Platforms & Venture Capital based
Access-to-Technology programs
- Co-lead & support the performance & implementation of
Special Strategic Projects at the interfaces of R&D, Business
& Corporate Strategy
- Establish & maintain robust working relationships with key
stakeholders
Your profile:
- University degree in biological or agricultural sciences with
industry experience & global network in plant breeding,
plant biotechnology, agronomy & related disciplines in the
agricultural industry
- Experienced negotiator with strong knowledge in complex
deal-making & decision-making processes.
- Team player with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary
& multi-cultural teams, to motivate virtual team members
& to coordinate with internal & external stakeholders across
hierarchy levels
- Excellent analytical, presentation & communication skills.
Proficiency in English
- Independent, pro-active & goal-oriented entrepreneur with
structured & flexible approach of assignments
