The
University Hospital Cologne is seeking applications a full-time
Medical Data Stewart (f/m)
to be employed under a limited-time contract (31 December 2021 – third-party funded).
The University Hospital Cologne is establishing a new Medical Data Integration Center (MeDIC). Goal of the MeDIC is the integration and standardization
of medical electronic patient records. This new facility will make patient records available for clinical research and it will improve patient care via
the implementation of new IT applications. The new MeDIC is embedded in a nation-wide network of university hospitals and it will closely interact with
the HiGHmed Medical Informatics project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluation of clinical and scientific data needs for the HiGHmed use case oncology
- Medical data modelling and development of openEHR archetypes in close interaction with other HiGHmed partners
- Analysis of clinical IT systems and data quality with support from the technical staff of the MeDIC
- Interaction at the national level to shape the future of German medical informatics
Minimum qualifications:
- University degree in medical informatics, computer science, health science, or another relevant area
- Experience with medical data management
- Very good communication and team working skills
- Ideally experience with oncological data
- German and English language skills
