Open Innovation in Science Center at the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft (LBG OIS Center)
The Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft (LBG) is a research institution with a thematic focus on medicine, life sciences and the humanities, and is specifically targeting new research topics in Austria. Together with academic and implementing partners, the LBG is currently running 19 institutes and develops and tests new forms of collaboration between science and non-scientific actors such as companies, the public sector and civil society. The LBG Open Innovation in Science Center, which unlocks the potential of open innovation for science, and the LBG Career Center, which supports 200 pre- and postdocs, as well as two new research groups on mental health are part of the LBG. The LBG employs 550 people.
The LBG Open Innovation in Science Center (LBG OIS Center) was founded in 2016 as a leading international center for researching Open Innovation methods and using these methods in science. The LBG OIS Center develops new methods and processes and supports scientists from various disciplines in deliberately using OIS methods and principles.
To support the research team at the LBG OIS Center, we are looking for motivated and qualified
Post-doc researchers (m/f) within Organizational Design and Micro-foundations of Open Innovation in Science (OIS)
The positions are full-time for 2 years starting as early as possible and no later than September 2019, with the option to extend the contract by 6 months. A gross salary of
EUR 3.711,10 per month is provided (in accordance with FWF Austrian Science Fund standard personnel costs and salaries).
