The Molecular Toxicology Group at the Department of Biology offers a
Postdoc Position in Molecular Toxicology
(Salary Scale 13 TV'L / 100%)
in the context of a project studying the role of NAD metabolism andpoly(ADP-ribosyl)ation
in cellular genotoxicity. The project is third-party funded and provides an exciting
opportunity for a candidate wishing to conduct toxicological and pharmacological research
in cellular in-vitro systems. We offer a collegial and dynamic research environment with
state-of-the-art equipped laboratories and excellent core facilities (e.g., Bioimaging,
Proteomics, FACS).
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Molecular Toxicology,
Biochemistry and/or Cell Biology. Mandatory qualifications include a doctoral degree in
Biochemistry, Biology, Toxicology or a related subject. Skills in mammalian cell culture are
required. Experience in the fields of DNA damage response, genotoxicology, NAD
metabolism, or poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation is a plus. The working language is English.
The earliest (and preferable) start date is May 1st, 2019. The position is available for
three years and can be divided into two part-time positions.
