Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m) in Molecular and Translational Oncology
The Schölch lab investigates molecular mechanisms of metastasis in colorectal and pancreatic cancer. Special
emphasis is put on circulating and disseminated cancer cells and innovative preclinical models of gastrointestinal
tumors. The group is heavily supported by both institutional and national funding. Our laboratory is a state of the
art molecular research lab and provides a comprehensive technical infrastructure. The position provides numerous
opportunities to cooperate with other strong groups on the Dresden Campus, nationwide and worldwide.

Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m)
in Molecular and Translational Oncology
The salary is according to the TV-L dispositions. The contract is initially limited to 24 months; however, unlimited extension is possible.
We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with strong interest and expertise in the field of molecular oncology
and a well-founded biological background. Experience in standard laboratory techniques such as cell culture, FACS, PCR and other assays
are a prerequisite. Experience in animal models of intestinal tumors would be of definitive advantage. Documented skills in scientific
publication are a prerequisite. The position will be supported by several technical assistants and will include the supervision of PhD
and MD students.
PhD degree in the field of life sciences
experience and understanding of the biology of human solid tumors
excellent proficiency in English
