Postdoctoral Research Position
Position The "Liver and Pancreas Development" laboratory (LPAD, de Duve Institute, Université
catholique de Louvain, Brussels, Belgium) studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms that
govern differentiation of liver and pancreatic cells in normal conditions and in cancer.
We are looking for a motivated post-doctoral candidate to apply for a position that will start in early
2019 for two years. We will offer :

Project The postdoctoral researcher will work on two related projects:
1/ Development of an ambitious and exciting basic research program addressing the mechanism of
action of the Kras oncogene in cancer.
2/ Generation of antibodies recognizing splicing isoforms of Kras. These antibodies are expected to
be used for the above projet and biomedical research.
Profile Candidates must hold a PhD in biology, pharmacy, medicine, veterinary sciences,
biomedical sciences or agronomy and have first author research publications in international peerreviewed
journals. Team spirit and knowledge of english are required. An "international mobility"
status (i.e. who did not reside or work in Belgium for more than 24 months in the last three years) is
required for this position.
