What to expect
Our research group uses models of cardiovascular biology and disease to understand molecular mechanisms of heart failure and arrhythmias. We employ a wide range of research techniques from molecular biology to functional cardiac assessment and quantification of biological molecules in patient samples, including hypothesis-driven and broad bioinformatics approaches.
The position is initially offered for three years with a possibility to prolong the post.

What we would like you to bring
- a university degree, e.g. in life sciences, medicine or veterinary medicine, biology, human biology, physics, chemistry or a combined degree in the sciences, ideally with a PhD or a master’s degree
- ideally prior expertise in animal research including a FELASA certificate, expertise in molecular or cellular biology methods
- knowledge of the English language and of MS Office
- a passion for science and team science, flexibility, responsibility and initiative
