The University of Applied Sciences Europe - Iserlohn, Berlin, Hamburg educates the designers and decisions-makers of tomorrow in the four faculties of Business,

We are searching for our faculty
Sport-, Media & Eventmanagement at our location in
Berlin
with the start of the
Summer Semester 2020 part-time (31,11 h per week / 14 SWS)
in an unlimited contract with the possibility of increasing up to 18 SWS (40 h per week)
Professor for Information Technology & Communication
Engineering (m/f/d)
Specific responsibilities:
- Lectures and teaching in courses of programming, data science, IT Systems, Technical and Customer service management, Networks, Project Management, Engineering, Development and Cybersecurity, and Communication Systems in our bachelor's and master's programs, held in English
- Supervision of examinations, internship, project, bachelor, master and doctoral thesis
- Participation in the further development, consultation and organization of courses
- Planning and implementation of research and development projects, including publishing activities
- Establishing a network with partner companies, support of internships and collaborative projects
- Participation in the academic self-administration of the university
Requirements:
- University degree requirement in the respective field of e.g. Telecommunication Engineering Information Technology, Programming, Data Science and Cybersecurity
- Successful promotion, completion of doctorate or evidence of scientific aptitude
- Relevant professional experience, of at least five years, three of which outside of university
- (International) university teaching experience
- Research in the field of expertise
- Very good English proficiency
- Very good communication skills and teamwork, ability to interact
- Organizational skills and above-average operational readiness
