Professorship for Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in the field of software engineering
• Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities
• Advising and supervising students
• Taking exams, supervising seminars, projects, Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral theses
• Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions for the further networking of theuniversity at the Potsdam location
• Administrative tasks and committee work
• Advising prospective students

Your profile:

• Completed relevant university studies (e.g. computer science, software engineering).
• Successful doctorate (at least "Magna cum laude" or equuivalent), i.e. proof of qualification forscientific work
• Qualified professional experience, at least three years, two years of which must have been spentoutside of higher education
• Several years of teaching experience at universities (international advantage)
• Ability to conduct courses in English
• Publication and research activity desirable
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Organisational skills and willingness to work hard
