Professorship for Software Engineering (m/f/d)
full-time position, 40 hrs/week - 18 semester hours (SWS), start at the earliest possible date
Your tasks:
- Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in the field of software engineering
- Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities
- Advising and supervising students
- Taking exams, supervising seminars, projects, Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral theses
- Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions for the further networking of theuniversity at the Potsdam location
- Administrative tasks and committee work
- Advising prospective students
Your profile:
- Completed relevant university studies (e.g. computer science, software engineering).
- Successful doctorate (at least "Magna cum laude" or equuivalent), i.e. proof of qualification forscientific work
- Qualified professional experience, at least three years, two years of which must have been spentoutside of higher education
- Several years of teaching experience at universities (international advantage)
- Ability to conduct courses in English
- Publication and research activity desirable
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organisational skills and willingness to work hard
