The SRH Hotel-Academy Dresden, an external campus of SRH Hochschule Berlin, offers programs and advanced professional training in areas such as hospitality, tourism, event and marketing. Practical relevance, internationality and industry-specific know-how pave the way for an international career. The academy is part of the SRH Hochschulen Berlin GmbH, owner of 2 further universities in Berlin: the SRH Hochschule der populären Künste (hdpk) and the design akademie berlin, SRH Hochschule für Kommunikation und Design.
We are part of SRH Higher Education, a leading private owner of ten universities and higher education institutions with a total of 13,000 students.
SRH is seeking a full-time or part-time Professor f/m of International Business Administration to join our Dresden campus academic team. The campus Dresden offers mainly programs in international hotel management and international tourism and event management.
Teach subjects in the field of Business Administration (like Accounting, Controlling, Strategic Management etc.) independently in English language
Conduct independent, application-oriented research in your field of expertise
Participate in autonomous administrative tasks
Expand academic and business networks, and transfer scientific findings into practice
Active re-organization of degree-programs
Completed scientific education with an above average PhD in the advertised field of expertise or in a closely related field; as well as relevant international scientific publications
Academic teaching experience in the English language and excellent command of English (written and spoken)
At least three years of experience in non-academic fields of work outside of academia with flexibility, teamwork and communication skills
Fulfillment of § 100 Berlin University Act (BerlHG) for full-time teaching staff according to the state institution of higher education
