to research and teaching in the context of digital twins and design for
manufacturability. The successful applicant is expected to have an excellent
track record in the field of modern computer-aided modeling, simulation,
and computational methods in structural mechanics. In addition,
extensive experience in at least one of the following fields is required:
Computational methods for additive manufacturing components
Experimental model validation
Modeling, simulation, and optimization of lightweight structures
Robust optimization (shape and topology optimization)
Structural health monitoring & prediction of damage development
Stability and endurance strength of lightweight structures
Uncertainty quantification and modeling of uncertainties
We are looking for a candidate who can contribute outstanding research
to the TUHH research areas, especially in the field of aircraft construction
and digitization. Experience in the acquisition of national and/or
international third-party funding and work experience in the industry
