We offer an open position at the Chair of Supply Chain Management (Prof. Dr. Christian Almeder) of the Stiftung Europa-Universität
Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) starting on April 1st, 2019 as a
Research Assistant (ID 1203-19-01)
(tariff part 13 TV-L, 30 hours/week)
The appointment is initially limited to three years and may be renewed.
Collaboration in research projects of the hair in the areas of production, logistics, and supply chain management
Contribute to the teaching program of the chair (preparation and implementation of courses, correction of assignments and exams)
Administrative tasks at the chair and the university
University (Master) degree in business administration, business informatics, mathematics, operations research or a related field
Knowledge/experience in production, logistics, supply chain management
Knowledge/experience in the application of quantitative methods (combinatorial optimization, linear programming, simulation) and programming skills are an advantage
Interest in pursuing independent research and a PhD in the areas of production, logistics, supply chain management
Good English language skills
Communication skills and sociability
Initiative, creative and good analytical skills
Working and collaborating in an active team of researchers in the department of Information and Operations Management
