The TUM School of Management invites applications for
a scientific employee position on the TV-L E13 level
(m/f/x) of the public sector pay scale at the
Professorship of Accounting. The Professorship of Accounting (Prof.
Dr. Michael Stich) is an integral part of the
Global Center for Family Enterprise at the newly founded
TUM Campus
Heilbronn. It contributes to a wide spectrum of challenges related to domestic and international accounting (e.g.,
financial accounting, managerial accounting, sustainability accounting, tax accounting, and accounting assurance).
The expected starting date is
October 01, 2021 or later by mutual agreement. The position is limited to 36 months
(extension for another 12 months is possible).

We look for a team player with …
- open-minded thinking about global environmental and societal challenges,
- completed Master's degree in accounting, economics, finance, and/or management,
- excellent competences in at least one of the following fields of accounting: reporting in line with the German
Commercial Code (HGB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and/or Global Reporting Initiative
(GRI),
- solid baseline competences in applied statistics and in standard software packages (e.g., STATA), and
- proved oral and written communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage but not a must.
