The group conducts experimental research on crystallography under nonambient and extreme conditions, with a current focus on structural high-pressure transformations in crystals, stability of dense planetary materials, carbonates and oxide materials under extreme conditions, and pressure effects on thermochemical energy-storage materials.

We are looking for an excellent scientist with a high potential of independent creative research in the field of experimental crystallography. The applicants research interest preferably include in-situ X-ray crystallography applied to single-crystal and powder diffraction at nonambient or extreme conditions, including activities on dedicated large-scale facilities (synchrotron).

The position includes independent teaching in particular in the fields of structural crystallography and X-ray crystallography.

Duration of employment: 6 year/s

Extent of Employment: 40.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
