We are seeking to appoint a scholar who represents the field of finance in both research and teaching across its full breadth.
The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of research, demonstrated through publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He or she has a strong research agenda in finance and shows a keen interest in interdisciplinary research and teaching. Additionally, the appointee is expected to actively develop an international network and pursue external research funding.

We expect the candidate to possess excellent teaching skills and a strong dedication to instruction, including the ability to conduct project-based courses in small group settings. The successful applicant should also be willing and able to teach courses in English and contribute to university self-government.
Pursuant to Article 47 of the State Higher Education Act (Landeshochschulgesetz), eligible candidates must hold a relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent), a doctoral degree, and demonstrate a distinguished record of post-doctoral research and teaching. This is typically evidenced by the successful completion of a Habilitation, a junior professorship, or equivalent research and teaching achievements.
