The Faculty of Science, Institute of Physics and Astronomy, at the University of Potsdam invites applications for the following position to be filled as soon as possible:
Full Professorship (W 3) for Experimental Physics (succession Prof. Neher)
We are seeking an exceptional researcher with an international reputation in light–matter interaction, particularly in excited states, and charge carrier dynamics. Expertise in optoelectronics, photocatalysis, or soft matter systems is highly valued. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the CRC1636 “Elementary Processes of Light-Driven Reactions at Nanoscale Metals”, fostering an interdisciplinary physical–chemical perspective, and is encouraged to establish additional links within the institute’s research in quantum physics, functional condensed matter, or biological physics.
