University Assistant (postdoctoral) - Behavioral Public Economics and Political Economy

Your personal sphere of play:

Your future position is at the Vienna Center for Experimental Economics (VCEE) which is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. Information about the VCEE can be found on the website at https://vcee.univie.ac.at/

Your future tasks:

Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

• You are involved in research projects at the VCEE.
• You publish internationally and present your work at seminars and conferences.
• You participate actively in all activities of the VCEE (e.g., brownbag, seminar, retreat, workshops) 
• You apply for projects and raise third-party funds.
• You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
• You participate in examination activities.
• You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
• You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.

This is part of your personality:

•    Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Economics (before starting your employment)
•    Outstanding dissertation
•    Ambition to build an international career
•    Research Competence and initiative
•    Didactic skills
•    Excellent knowledge of English
•    Knowledge of German is an asset but not required.
