The 3D computer vision system to be developed will be used for a system for skin diagnosis. 3D tissue surface reconstruction
algorithms and virtual/augmented reality technologies may enhance the quality and clinical applicability of such a system.
You will join the www.ram.ewi.utwente.nl group of the University of Twente, and from here you contribute to the project
goals by implementing and evaluating the surface reconstruction and virtual reality technologies. You will report on your
research in papers in international scientific journals. When needed, you will also assist in the management of the project.
You have a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electric Engineering or Computer Science with a specialisation in image analysis and
computer vision. Skills in embedded system software development are valued. Team working skills are essential. As a researcher we expect
you to be inventive and result oriented. You are a conceptual thinker and need excellent collaboration and communication skills. You keep
yourself updated on the latest developments in your field of expertise and you stay in touch with your network.

Conditions of employment
As a postdoc researcher, you will be offered an employment contract for the duration of 2.5 years. Your gross monthly salary can
vary, starting from € 3068,-, depending on your background and relevant experience. Additionally, the University of Twente provides
