Job Description:
We are looking for an all-round, versatile and reliable Press & Public Relations Officer to
handle the large spectrum of media and communication responsibilities around all
aspects of the World Health Summit and represent our company, both on- and offline.
The successful candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills in
English and German, both written and spoken.
About the World Health Summit:
The World Health Summit as the world‘s foremost strategic forum for global health,
brings together stakeholders and decision-makers from every field in the healthcare
spectrum with experts from academia, industry, politics and civil society. Held annually in
Berlin in October, the World Health Summit aims to improve health all over the planet,
catalyzing that process through collaboration and open dialogue, and steering tomorrow‘s
agenda to improve research, education, healthcare, and policy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and evaluate brand, marketing, public relations, and
communications strategies
- Manage, maintain, optimize, and update all digital communications
- Coordinate press work, serve as primary contact person for media requests,
write press releases, organize and execute press conferences, organize press
accreditation, and maintain databases
- Create compelling stories on the World Health Summit and its central topics
- Edit and clear articles, interviews, speeches, presentations, and quotes
- Write the monthly World Health Summit newsletter
- Monitor, archive and evaluate World Health Summit related media reports
- Be responsible for website and social media (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn,
YouTube)
- Implement the sendings of mailings
- Organize on-/offline documents like info materials, flyers, brochures, on-site
signage, and reports
- Maintain corporate identity in all World Health Summit related matters
- Coordinate external service providers
- Organize events like the Startup Track or Nobel Viewing
- Maintain relationships with press departments of partners and create aligned
communications
- Foster the World Health Summit network‘s communication
- Foster and organize the communication within the M8 Alliance
- Advise and support the World Health Summit Regional Meeting‘s
communications team
