Scope: Explore Synergetic Aircraft Health Monitoring Systems Utilising a Systems Engineering Approach
You will start with an exhaustive literature research into regulations for continuing airworthiness, currently applied inspection regimes and health monitoring systems of commercial aircraft
Based on findings from the literature research you provide a systematic overview on inspection requirements for major aircraft systems
Using a systems engineering approach you will explore how continuing airworthiness requirements can be satisfied by means of already available on-board equipment and compare it to dedicated health monitoring solutions
You evaluate your results using appropriate performance indicators
As you progress, you will write an English documentation of your analyses as well as your results and conclusions
You are a student (m/f/d) in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
You have experience or a strong interest in aircraft MRO and systems engineering
Your previous experiences include creative problem solving
Reliability, preciseness, and self-reliance are among your strengths
You are interested in target-oriented tasks and working in an interdisciplinary team
