Within the laboratory directed by Prof. von Lilienfeld we develop new methods for the machine learning based acceleration of unbiased virtual compound space exploration campaigns based on quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics.
We are looking for an international senior scholar interested to join our effort.
Applicants should have multiple years of productive postdoctoral experience in the field.

Your tasks are active participation in research, teaching, and administration.
-developing and strengthening your independent research profile
-participation in research collaborations
-assistance in writing research grant proposals
-independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
-assistance in administration
-supervision of Bachelor, Master, and PhD students
-participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
-PhD in first principles based atomistic simulation
-Substantial postdoctoral experience working on the development of quantum models for accelerated and data-efficient predictions of physical and chemical properties throughout compound space with controlled accuracy. In particular, demonstrated contributions in the field of alchemical perturbation density functional theory are strongly desired.
-Extensive experience in programming and developing and applying first principles software towards real materials and molecules.
